Located footsteps from the famous beaches, the World Kite Musuem and Hall of Fame is home to more than 1,500 kites from twenty-six countries and focuses on education and the history of kite flying worldwide.
The museum is open year-around and hosts the annual Washington State International Kite Festival in August, drawing famous kite fliers from all around the world, and tens of thousands awed spectators, many of which participate in the fun with their own kite flying adventures.
