At the Georgia Renaissance Festival’s Field Trip Day, students experience the sights and sounds, the history and culture of the 16th Century through interactive workshops, performances and demonstrations tailored by grade level to support curricular goals. Field trip presentations support more than 160 education standards in core and elective subjects. (View supported standards for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee on the field trip page: https://www.garenfest.com/student-day-information )
It’s STEAM! Field trip presentations are cross-curricular and build literacy in core and elective subjects. Workshops are taught by trained performer educators; many are interactive and support different learning styles. Engaging presentations like The Birds of Prey and Royal Jousting Tournament put students right in the middle of the action!
