Christmas Ships – I-205 / Steamboat Landing
Portland’s annual Christmas Ship Parade, the longest continually running Christmas Ship parade in America. Since 1954, a 100% volunteer-run organization. An Oregon Heritage Tradition.
Route Details
7:00PM – Columbia Fleet assembles in front of M. James Gleason Boat Ramp, 43rd/NE Marine Drive and continues upriver to the I-205 Bridge area and Steamboat Landing. The fleet will continue upriver to the area of SE 164th (Vancouver). The fleet stays on the WA side and is out for about two hours.
Outdoor viewing: James M Gleason Boat Ramp. Large parking lot.
Viewing at parade start 43rd NE Marine Drive. The gates will be kept open longer so people can view the parade. The $5 parking still applies.NE Marine Drive from NE 43rd to I-205 Bridge Government Island – East and West docks. (By boat only)
