Come celebrate the bounty of Clark County farms! Nine farms will be open (and the entrance cost is FREE) to the public on Saturday, September 21 to show the bounty of local agriculture and give Clark County residents an opportunity to tour and meet their area farmers.
Farms will offer a variety of fun-filled events such as self-guided tours, U-pick vegetables, a hayride, and photo ops with alpacas. Participants will be able to meet their local farmers; purchase fresh produce, other farm products, U-pick vegetables and flowers; see alpacas, chickens, Highland Cattle, and other livestock; talk tractors; learn about seed-saving; and tour vegetable fields and flower gardens.
In previous years over one thousand area residents came out to participate. There will be a variety of fun-filled events such as animal petting, hay rides, self-guided tours, a seed-saving workshop, u-pick produce, family-fun games, and photo ops with alpacas. The farms offer tours and sell farm fresh products.
