Nearly forty years in the making. Jim Mains first decorated his parents home at the age of 7, just a few blocks from where his wife and kids live today.
Now the neighbors on Franklin street have joined together for a holiday extravaganza each year.
Five neighbors on Franklin street are known as Holidays on Franklin street.
These neighbors put together unforgettable displays for almost every holiday. Working together to decorate the entire block of homes. Although, Halloween and Christmas are the big ones. In 2022 over 12,500 trick or treaters visited the street. From Thanksgiving to New Years over 150,000 lights shine along the two blocks of homes.
The love for the holidays shine during each season and all our welcome to stop by and take in the sights, sounds and special effects on the street.
Donations are always welcome to help with costs for electricity, candy and production.
