Join us for an evening of inspiration and creativity at the Fourth Plain Community Commons. We are honored to host Clark County Poet Laureate Susan Dingle for a special two-part event that celebrates the power of words to connect and heal our community.
The Evening’s Schedule:
6:00 PM – 6:45 PM | Featured Reading: Susan will share selections from her acclaimed work, reflecting on her journey as a poet, social worker, and advocate for the Clark County arts scene.
6:45 PM – 8:00 PM | Generative Workshop: Pick up a pen and join a guided writing session. Susan will lead us through prompts designed to unlock your creative voice using image and metaphor. No previous writing experience is required—just a willingness to explore!About the Venue: This event takes place in the heart of Vancouver at the Fourth Plain Community Commons, a space dedicated to fostering local culture, celebration, and community growth.

Susan Dingle is the 2024–2027 Clark County Poet Laureate. An MFA graduate from Pacific University and a licensed clinical social worker, Susan believes that “poetry is for everyone.” Her work is centered on making poetry accessible, helping people of all backgrounds find their voices through her “Poetry Street” initiatives and community-wide workshops.About StorySpark Collective
