As always respect the Drop Zone and other rules and expectations especially due to the expanding participation by non-residents. Please help us to protect our property by following the rules and enforcing those rules with your party guests as well as strangers you see in the neighborhood. One specific place in which we need help is to protect the drop zone before and after the show. If you would be willing to hold a flashlight at the boundary of the drop zone during the exit after the show please contact Christina Matousek @ oakhillsgm@gmail.comIn addition to the drop zone, we will be putting up temporary fencing surrounding the area to watch the fireworks. This is to allow for collections to take place away from the street and making it safer for our volunteers. The fencing will go up on June 30th and be taken down on the 5th of July. Homeowner access to the green space will not be restricted.
DONATIONS
We thank you in advance for donations to the 4th of July. Donations may be made online or in-person at the Rec or any donation collection locations at the neighborhood entrances. Please instruct all people invited to your party that donations are the only way we can afford to put on this wonderful show and encourage them to joyfully donate at the gates coming into the neighborhood. If your party starts before 7 p.m., please consider making your homeowner donation larger to consider the number of your guests!
