Family Fun Day - Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at PSU

Family Fun Day at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art invites visitors of all ages will be able to view the inaugural exhibitions as well as participate in multimedia art experiences throughout the day.

SCHEDULE:
10am-1:30pm: Transparent Portraiture
10am-2:30pm: Portraits in Re-Use
3pm-5pm: Family Portrait Workshop
All Day: Scavenger Hunt

Transparent Portraiture: Beginning with photographs, create bold portraits of yourself or loved ones using transparencies and acrylics.

Portraits in Re-Use: Create a self-portrait or a portrait of another using a wide array of re-use materials. Experience the creative possibilities and value of discards as you use them to represent yourself or your friend.

Family Portrait Workshop: Learn about family portraits through history and across cultures. Create your own 2-D or 3-D portraits through various mediums.
