Join the Ridgefield Community Library, Friends of Ridgefield Community Library, and the City of Ridgefield in celebrating National Library Lover’s Month and Take Your Child to the Library Day!
Friends of Ridgefield Community Library Book Sale – Children’s books and DVDs, hardbacks, and paperbacks.
Members’ Pre-Sale: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Memberships are available at the door.
General Public Sale: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.Ridgefield Community Library Book Bingo – Join in on a book scavenger hunt in the library, ALL DAY! All ages welcome. Children receive a coupon for a free book at the book sale or at the Friends Used Book Store.
Ridgefield Community Library – It’s the day we celebrate the contribution of libraries to people of all ages, beginning with the very youngest of us. Visit your local library, check out a book, a board game, a learn-at-home kit, and maybe even get a library card!
Little Libraries Walking Tour – Gather your friends and family and take a leisurely stroll around town to visit the Little Libraries available to the public. Print or view the map.
Bowls
Visit the City of Ridgefield booth at the Ridgefield Community Library to get a bowl token. Tokens are only valid at participating businesses or activities, to turn in and receive a delicious treat in a bowl, a flower arrangement, a bird feeding bowl or decorate your own bowl with local artist, Barbara Wright! Limit 1 token per person.
Valid only on event day, February 3rd. For charges over the allotted token amount, customer is responsible for paying the balance (i.e. tax, tip, or menu item over the token value). Customers may choose to use their ticket at a participating business or activity listed below:

Season’s Coffee, Tea, and Remedies – Bowl of Ice Cream
Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge at Season’s Coffee – Bird Feeding Bowl

La Catrina – Meat or Veggie Bowl
Nest – Chili Bread Bowl
Little Conejo / Bunnie’s Pizza – Nachos (until 3PM) or Caesar Salad (after 3PM)
BevRidge Public – Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Bisque
Poca Pasta – TBD
Ridgefield Floral & Gifts – Ikebana Inspired Floral Arrangement
Activities:
Meet the Artist: Barbara Wright
Ridgefield Art Association Artist Barbara Wright will be at the Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center (RACC) on Saturday, February 3rd from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM displaying her art at the Cube Gallery with a fun bowl decoration activity for visitors to participate in. Turn in your token and decorate your own bowl to bring home!Around Town:
