Friday Night Flicks
Friday Night Flicks in a new event will be held at the Port of Ridgefield where we will present a five-week series of outdoor movie screenings.
The strength of Southwest Washington and its nonprofits is the collaborative spirit we all have. It is in this spirit that five of us have joined (Clark County Historical Museum & Society, Police Activities League of SW Washington, Ridgefield Main Street, Rocksolid Community Teen Center, and Leadership Clark County) together to bring a new fundraising experience for our community.
Each week a different nonprofit will take the lead to organize a fun evening of film and food. We invite you to be a part of this inaugural fundraising series where your attendance and support will be stretched to support five local nonprofits.
- July 9th – Zootopia. Supporting PAL of SWWA
- July 16th – Clue. Supporting Clark County Historical Museum
- July 23rd – Field of Dreams. Supporting Ridgefield Main Street
- July 30th – School of Rock. Supporting Rocksolid Community Teen Center
- August 6th – Remember the Titans. Supporting Leadership Clark County
Doors open at 7:30pm and after you park your car, you’ll be able to tour police vehicles, buy some food from local Vancouver Farmer’s Market vendors, play yard games, and even participate in an online silent auction! Remember this is a night to not only enjoy each other’s company, but to also fundraise some dollars for PAL of SWWA.
As the sun sets, you’ll be encouraged to return to your car and tune your radio to our audio station for the movie.
