Rotary Community Tree Lighting Vancouver

Mark your calendars for an extraordinary event!

The Tree Lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 24th at Esther Short Park. We are excited to announce that this year, the celebration will also extend to Vancouver’s Waterfront! The festivities include Santa & Mrs. Claus, chauffeured by a Christmas tugboat and escorted by Christmas Ships to the Vancouver City dock. Then, a vehicle parade will carry Santa and Mrs. Claus from in front of the AC Marriott and proceed along Columbia Blvd, heading towards Esther Short Park. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be dropped off to light up the Christmas Tree.

VANCOUVER WATERFRONT ACTIVITIES

NoPo Big Band, an 18 piece swing style orchestra, to play on the Southwest corner of the AC Marriott on the Waterfront

A flotilla of Christmas Ships will escort a Christmas tugboat, carrying Santa and Mrs. Claus, along the Vancouver waterfront to the City Dock.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the Vancouver Waterfront in front of the AC Marriott

A vehicle parade will start from just in front of the AC Marriott, head up Columbia Way to Esther Short Park, and drop Santa and Mrs. Claus off to light the Christmas Tree
