“Disney’s Winnie the Pooh” KIDS – A FREE OUTDOOR SHOW!
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course… sharing snacks.Young actors hit the stage this weekend to perform Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS! A delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. These performances are a culmination of a 2-week beginning-intermediate summer musical theater intensive and feature performers between the ages of 6 and 12.
Performances are this weekend only, outside on the field behind Metropolitan Performing Arts. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, no seating is provided. Limited tents for shade will be set up and reserved for elderly audience members. Seating is first come, first serve. The show is free with a suggested donation of $5, but no one will be turned away. Free parking and restrooms on sight. The show is approximately 30 minutes long. Stay afterwards for a meet and greet with the characters.
