SCRAP PDX is a nonprofit with a retail store selling materials for creative reuse. We also have a top-notch education program offering camps, field trips, SCRAP at School, birthday parties, and “Crafternoon!” workshops for adults and kids. Our mission is to foster sustainable behavior and make materials affordable to the community.

What You Can Find At SCRAP PDX

SCRAP PDX offers a variety of reused materials for arts and crafts—plus school, office, and party supplies. Our inventory is unique and changes constantly so you never know what you’re going to find! The hunt is part of the fun. Find out more about our retail store  at scrappdx.org.

Why Are The Prices So Low

With the help of your donations,  SCRAP PDX diverted close to 200,000 pounds of usable materials from the waste stream last year. Because  our inventory is donated by individuals and businesses, we can keep prices low—usually at 30-50% of retail prices. Every penny spent in the store goes back into supporting SCRAP PDX’s mission.
