Mini golf is a favorite in our family. Whenever we are traveling or looking to spend some time outdoors, we find ourselves searching for courses that are fun for the whole family.
We have put together a list of local mini golf courses around the Portland and Vancouver metro area that are kid friendly and the parents will have fun too!
Bullwinkle’s Wilsonville – This family fun center has a ton of entertainment including outdoor mini golf. Their facility has two beautiful courses with 18 holes each that challenge you with bridges, creeks, caves and a castle. The courses are open rain or shine. If you get tired of golfing, you can go bowling, play games, ride go-karts and do so much more. Tons of fun for all ages! Tualatin Island Greens – This outdoor 18 hole course is spread over 3 acres of towering trees, water hazards, pretend sand bunkers and other challenging landscapes. Perfect enjoyment for all ages. Twin Pines Country Club – Located on a private residence, this couple has opened up their property to provide free outdoor mini golf for the public to enjoy. This 6 hole course is located in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland. Clubs and balls are provide, they just ask to be respectful of their property and the neighbors. Eagle Landing – Known for its challenging traditional golf course, it also has an outdoor, 36 hole mini golf course. Perfect for the kids (or adults too), this course has waterfalls, fountains, and mountains making it a blast to enjoy. You can also try the country’s first dedicated soccer golf course. Oaks Park’s Chipper’s Woods Miniature Golf – When visiting historic Oaks Park Amusement park there is also an outdoor mini golf along with the roller coasters, games and roller skating. With views of the Willamette River and mostly in the shade, it’s a great way to unwind after a day of fun. Golf course access is available on a first come, first serve basis – rain or shine. Alderbrook Park – Located in rural NE Vancouver and situated on 63 acres, this outdoor private park has so much for the whole family to enjoy, including outdoor mini golf. From bounce houses, to swimming, to volleyball, kickball, paddle boat rides and more. Mini golf is just one of the many things that you will do here. This 18 hole course is free with paid admission to the park. Be sure to bring your photo ID as they will hold it in exchange for a putter and balls. Be sure to call or check their website for days and hours when they are open. They frequently have private events which are closed to the public. Pietro’s Pizza and Pirate Adventure – If the family is hungry and you want to have some fun, check out this indoor course while eating some delicious pizza. 3-D, glow in the dark mini golf and Pirate themed is a fun time to enjoy during the rainy weather or hot summer (Beaverton, OR and Salem, OR locations only). The 19th Hole – If you find yourself looking for mini golf in Portland, this hidden 9 hole course is located at the Hotel deLuxe on the corner of SW 15th and Yamhill. You and the family can enjoy lawn games like corn hole, Giant Jenga and gourmet food carts while sitting under the umbrellas. Glowing Greens – This indoor, black light mini golf in Portland is sure to please everyone in the family. The course has 13 holes with a 3D adventure course. Celebrating your birthday? Safari Mini Golf / Laser Blaster – Located inside the Vancouver Mall, this 14 hole, black light, safari themed course will be enjoyed by all.
