First Saturday: Ridgefield Green + Clean
Help keep our Ridgefield community green and clean by participating in some of our April First Saturday activities on Saturday, April 6!
#RidgefieldTrashTag
For the month of April, help keep the Ridgefield community clean by picking up trash or beautifying an area that needs it! To participate, take a Before and After picture of a public area in Ridgefield after you have either:
- Picked Up Trash – choose a community/neighborhood park, trail, or path and pick up trash.
- Beautified the Area – this can be in a front yard or community area (with permission – i.e. a tree well), planting flowers, weeding, and more.
Post your before and after pictures on social media, tag the City of Ridgefield, and use the hashtag #RidgefieldTrashTag
10AM – 1PM*
Free Shredding Service:
LeMay Shredding Services will be located in the Ridgefield Administrative Civic Center (RACC) parking lot located at 510 Pioneer Street from 10AM – 1PM
*or until the truck is fullACCEPTED: paperclips, binder clips, hanging file folders, rubber bands and staples…all of the typical filing fasteners.
