Teen After School – Firstenburg Community Center

All of our teen programming starts with the core principles of Trust, Respect, Self-Esteem, Consistency and Integrity. These values create welcoming spaces for teens of all social and economic backgrounds to come together to develop tolerance, acceptance and gain support while hanging out and having fun in a safe and positive environment.

Activities for Teens

At Firstenburg Community Center

• Teen After-School Open Gym: Mon.-Fri., 2:45 to 5 p.m.
  • Ages 11-18. Scan in at the front desk first, then check in with gym staff.
• Game Room Hours: Open during regular building hours.
  • Ping pong, foosball and pool tables available.
  • A picture ID is required to check out game table equipment, and rentals are available for one hour.
  • Fees: $1 (ping pong) and $3 (billiards/pool).
  • Foosball equipment is available free of charge.

How to Participate

Teens must have a current community center pass, Youth Opportunity Pass or Center Pass to participate in teen programming.

Teens with a youth or family community center pass also have access to the Fitness Center, Pool and group exercise classes.

Teens who have a Firstenburg or Marshall Youth Pass or Family Pass may use the fitness facilities and pool. Many adult recreation classes also welcome teen enrollment, with or without a parent depending on the age and class content.
