City of Washougal Welcomes Spring with New Event

Spring is here! On Saturday, April 27 the City of Washougal encourages residents to spend the afternoon at Hathaway Park for the Hello Spring Community Fair from 12-2pm. This event features a free hot dog lunch, giveaways, educational activities, and more.

“The City of Washougal is very excited to host Hello Spring for the third year,” noted Community Engagement Manager Rose Jewell. “This event provides a wonderful opportunity for everyone to get outside and experience Washougal parks after the long, dark winter. Come and enjoy the afternoon!”

Free Hot Dog Lunch

City staff is pleased to partner with the Washougal School District and Shoug Shack to provide free hotdog lunches. Meals are first come, first served, while supplies last.

Passport to Spring

Passport to Spring is a fun activity where kids visit booths around the event and answer multiple choice questions to get a stamp. When they get a minimum of 10 stamps, they bring their card back to the City Hall booth for a prize.
